Flyer Bio:
He’s back on home turf and ready to rock. Milo is no stranger to the North America rave circuit. One of the keystones in today’s stateside hardcore scene, Milo has played clear across the USA and Canada pushing the new sound of hardcore to the masses. Whether he’s in the studio, behind the scenes running NAHM, or up on the decks, no one can deny the passion and style he brings to the table.
Personal Bio:
I was born in upsate New York and moved around the north east for a bit (earlier than I can really remember) before settling in Cazenovia. I was raised there and was lucky enough to spend over a year in Australia (Melbourne) where this music stuff got started. I picked up spinning in September 2000 and found hardcore several months later… and that started that (see the events section for the progression of parties). I began working with HappyHardcore.com in 2003 (maybe earlier, I don’t remember exactly =P), and later teamed up with the M’asstodon Sound Crew in fall of ‘03 for Totally Sweet Radio. The summer of 2004 saw the creation of NAHM which later debuted in December of 2004 and began smashing radio listener records. I began producing in the summer of 2004, but didn’t really develop until mid/late 2005. Full info on what I use is in the studio section. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in studio with Hattrixx, Reese, No Left Turn, Virus, and Tyrant, as well as Ruffage, Sunrize, Hujib, AC Slater and a handful of others who have so kindly also helped out with teaching me the ropes.
I have recently finished my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) with an Hon. BSc in chemistry and environmental science with another minor in environmental chemistry. I also spent a semester studying @ MetalWorks Institute for music production and engineering.
That’s pretty much it. If you’re curious about anything else just drop me an e-mail of message me from the contact page =)
